My first 5K

I’ve recently signed up to do the Couch to 5K training with a group at our Westside Fitness Facility with Gina. It starts the week of April 15th meeting twice a week continuing until June when they’ll have the ME FIRST 5K.  I plan on running (jogging/walking) it, it’ll be my first official 5K. I’m kind of excited and nervous. I’m not much of a runner.  I’ll keep you updated on my progress.

  1. You become a runner the second you step out there and make the effort. Good luck with your training. I think you will surprise yourself. I hope you come to love running. I literally hope that for everyone! 🙂

  2. No worries!!! You got this!!! I went from sprinter to couch potatoe to distance runner to marathoner!!! Enjoy the journey and if you need any running tips I’m an open book. Run Happy!! 🙂
