Hey friend. *head nod* What’s up? What is going on with you in 2016? As we go into the new year I have some new adventures to look forward to. Very exciting. I’m going to start SNHU (Southern New Hampshire University) online degree program for Creative Writing for my bachelors degree. I’m looking forward to getting this done. It doesn’t matter how long it takes to achieve your goal, as long as you’re working towards it and enjoying the journey. I signed up to do the DLP (Documented Life Project) again. Looking forward to putting some art in my life … Continue reading Happy New Year!
I started a new program called Ideal Protein which is through my chiropractor’s office. I’m two weeks in to it (14 days). My goal with this program is to basically quit my sugar addiction. There’s sugar hidden in so many things plus the known sugar that we consume was crazy for me. I knew this but kicking the habit was hard alone. I knew I needed assistance. So I turned to this program.

Taking charge of my health, wellness, and diet I’ve decided I need to purge some bad habits and addictions (sugar). Let me start with what isn’t working… I have pondered long and hard recently regarding my health and wellness. I don’t feel I’m making progress in the ME First/ME4Life program. A lot of the wellness stuff we cover I’ve been working on for years. I feel it isn’t a positive session for me listening to other people’s negativity bi-weekly. I don’t feel I’m getting anything positive from the group interactions at this point. And unfortunately it seems that it is … Continue reading Choices
Hey there guys! So an update on how I’m doing. I’m feeling great. My abdomen is bruised from the half-inch incisions for the tools but other than that I’m feeling better than I have in a LONG time. No more … Continue reading A Week or so PostOp
Recently found out that I have (had) a heart-shaped uterus. News to me. She asked how many kids I had and was surprised that I had two. My first wasn’t as early as we thought. She was surprised I carried … Continue reading News to me
Apparently my uterus is wicked unhappy in its current home. She has become quite the squeaky wheel. So she is being evicted. The issues have been going on since August of last year and finally everything came to a culmination when she sent me to the ER twice in three days at the end of February. Enough is enough. I’ve had enough of the pain, enough of the irritation, and enough of the pressure. She’s currently unemployed and unemployable. As of next week I’m kicking her out. For my sanity, safety, and well-being she must go. Where she goes I … Continue reading Evicting My Uterus
What is today? Friday the 27th I think. What happened to this week? Where did it go? You know how when you’re on vacation and all the days seem to blend together? Being in the hospital feels the same way. What the hell happened? Good question. As far as I can tell (and the doctors think) I had an infection. I’ll spare you the gory details of this. Basically I went to the ER on Sunday night, they kept me overnight and released me on Monday morning. Gave me a couple of prescriptions to take. On Monday I slept all … Continue reading How I lost 3 days
